Shakes Radio has consulted radio broadcasters since 2002.  In addition to national consulting,  Dave Shakes has practical everyday experience operating in today's station leadership challenges.  He is an equity-partner and co-owner of Northern California's Results Radio LLC  since 1999, with 13 stations in 4 markets.  This company outperforms its market competitors every year in top line revenue growth.

Between 1996 and 2002 Dave was VP of Consulting with Alan Burns & Associates.  Dave has consulted a wide variety of formats and market sizes. Dave's specialty is creating game-changing content and marketing approaches that lead to higher revenue for owners and operators.

Dave programmed B96 Chicago for CBS Radio, KMEL & KIOI San Francisco for Evergreen Media, and 96TIC-FM Hartford for Chase Broadcasting.  Dave's education in great radio began with a news internship at RKO Top 40 legend KFRC San Francisco in 1980.  He has experience as a OM, PD, Production Director, and Air Talent  in all sizes of US Markets. 

Dave holds a variety of certificates in management and marketing, and graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts degree.(Go Fighting Ducks!)
